Upcoming Changes in Employment Law – the Bitesized Edition

3rd April 2023

Employment law is an area of law that is always changing, either due to new case decisions made by tribunals/courts or new bills going through Parliament to amend regulations or legislation.

Employers need to make sure that they are up-to-date with these changes to ensure they are compliant with the law. They also need to ensure they are aware of current trends with people so that they continue to attract and retain the right talent.

We understand that many businesses have a lot of plates to juggle, from ensuring they are ahead of their competitors to meeting specific regulatory requirements in their sector and making profit. Add people and employment law into the mix and there is even more to think about.

Over the coming months we will be sending out bitesize updates on the changes happening over 2023. Headlines coming include the statutory pay increase on 1 April 2023, changes to UK immigration rules coming on 14 April 2023, the proposed Strikes (Minimum Services Levels) Bill, the proposed Flexible Working Bill and much more.

For more information on these changes or assistance with updating your policies or contracts, you can contact our Employment Client Services team here, or by calling the team 0344 2640102.
