What’s your role at DAS Law?

I lead the specialist contract teams that deal with the lower value, from small claims up to £30-40,000, mostly consumer or SME based disputes. We deal with a wide range of different type of disputes, from cars and building works to ruined holidays and hacked email accounts.

Whether it’s a consumer looking for a fair deal or a tradesperson who just wants to be paid, my people look to use their knowledge and experience to get to a practical solution as quickly as possible.      

What are your areas of expertise?    

Motor vehicle disputes, Consumer Credit and finance and building and construction law.

What do you like to do outside of the office?

I have one son mad on rugby and another obsessed with football; when they aren’t playing they drag me down Ashton Gate to watch City/Rugby. I help coach both their teams and spend my weekends watching them play.

In a previous life?

I spent 9 years as an engineer in the Royal Air Force before then deciding to pursue a career in the law.
